Wooly Aziz is the solo, progressive soul project of Jannat Sohail, an artist from Pakistan whose sound is both intimate and expansive. With atmospheric compositions and lyrical storytelling, Wooly Aziz weaves reflective tales of love, war, and migration — music that feels both deeply personal and beautifully unbound by borders.
For the live session, our concept was to recreate the feeling of an intimate jazz bar — warm, moody, and alive with quiet energy. The space was lit with soft, practical lamps to bathe the scene in a golden glow, while the camera, lightly influenced by the jazz theme, gently drifted between Jannat and her band, capturing subtle moments of connection and emotion woven through the performance.
