About

Adam Lynch is a Director of Photography and Film Editor working between Berlin, Germany, and Canberra, Australia. His work spans television drama, wildlife documentaries, high-end hospitality, fitness brands, and creative collaborations. He’s partnered with clients like Holmes Place and ZDF, bringing a strong visual style to social campaigns and branded content.

Adam’s career began in the Australian independent film scene, where he trained as a camera assistant and editor before graduating in Cinematography from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in 2014. His work has earned recognition from the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), including a Gold Award for the wildlife film Mashutu, shot in Botswana, as well as Silver for the documentary Authentink, and Bronze awards for the art films Travelling Light and Way of Ink.

Driven by curiosity and a strong sense of atmosphere, Adam’s visual style embraces imperfection and instinct. Whether working with natural light, analogue formats, or carefully controlled lighting, his approach is grounded in a deep respect for story—always allowing emotion and environment to guide the image.

Whether navigating remote landscapes or urban environments, Adam is constantly exploring —often through 35mm and 120 film photography or underwater cinematography.
