Adam began his career in the Australian independent film scene, training as a camera assistant and editor before graduating in Cinematography from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in 2014. His cinematography has been recognised by the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), earning a Gold Award for the wildlife film MASHATU, shot in Botswana, along with Silver and Bronze awards for AUTHENTINK, TRAVELLING LIGHT, and WAY OF INK.

Adam’s cinematographic style is grounded in atmosphere, emotion, and instinct. Whether working with natural light, analogue formats, or controlled lighting setups, his approach is driven by a deep respect for story and character. Embracing imperfection and intuition, he lets environment and feeling shape the image - creating work that feels immersive, tactile, and emotionally honest.

In his still photography, Adam explores similar themes through a slower, more meditative lens. Often working with 35mm and 120 film, his photographs focus on texture, natural light, and the emotional resonance of people and places. Whether capturing quiet portraits, remote landscapes, or urban details, Adam’s stills distill mood and memory into a single frame - always guided by a strong sense of atmosphere and instinct.
